We specialize in working with individuals that have addictions and/or have experienced childhood trauma and attachment conflicts. Information about family of origin, past intimate relationships and/or any drug or alcohol history helps us create a plan to address specific needs. The work continues outside of the office with helpful exercises.

By observing the self-defeating patterns in a relationship, we are able to help partners form new helpful behaviors, which through practice can lead to a deepened connection, increased intimacy and trust. Concerns of each partner are addressed and goals for the relationship are established. Exercises outside the office are often part of this process.

Here we examine the interplay between the family constellation. Listening to concerns and goals of individual family members are an important part of the process. We will identify and restructure family roles and establish healthy boundaries. By learning communication skills and respectful behaviors, trust will be regained between members.
